WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU FEEL YOU’VE STOPPED MAKING PROGRESS.TAKE TIME OFF TRAINING - Sometimes if you have hit a plateau in your gym workouts, it can be a sign to take a week or so off training to give your body chance to recover and reset.LOWER YOUR WEIGHTS - Alternatively to the previous point, if you are someone who doesn’t want to take time off of the gym as you want to continue with your sessions, taking a de-load week and reducing your weights can be all that’s needed to restart your pattern and get back into it. TRY NEW THINGS - This is a good one for if you feel you’re not making any progress in terms of your nutrition. By swapping in different meals and trying new recipes, it can be a great way to freshen up your food and give you some more inspo for exciting meals.LOOK BACK AT HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME - It is so easy to see a plateau as a negative and focus on how you feel at a standstill, but just by looking back at the progress you have already made it can be enough to give yourself a mood boost and energy to keep on going .DO NOT COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHER JOURNEYS - Everyone progresses at different speeds and everyone’s journey is different. Entering a healthy lifestyle and starting your fitness is a gradual process and everyone is on a different part of their journey.
