HELLO INSTAGRAM πŸ€©πŸŽ―πŸ’­Okay so I took a few weeks off social media and have come back ready to give you the fitness tips and inspo I usually post πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Sometimes it is good to take a step back, refresh and focus on what you are working towards in order to stay on track and keep yourself motivated. To be completely honest, I have been in and out of my fitness for the last few weeks - mentally and physically needing to take a step back from my training routine and refresh. I also have strained my leg over the course of training the past month, which has meant I have had to take a little time off the gym in order to recover. So I thought I would share with you my NEW GOALS for this next upcoming month of May 🎯 to keep track of my progress:- Train 3 x week (NO MORE) πŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ -> I am such a strict person with my training routine and can easily push myself way too much, resulting in over training and injury... so this is a must!- Keep the protein up πŸ₯šπŸ§€ -> I sometimes go through phases of tracking my protein or ensuring it is high enough, but will keep including additional protein supplements I enjoy to further boost my intake. - Continue with the cardio / rest day exercise I enjoyπŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ -> so I mentioned before about how I love to do yoga, Pilates and walking in order to clear my head, so am definitely incorporating these into my week of workouts It is so important to give yourself a break to reset yourself mentally and physically when you need to - and I really felt like I needed to the last few weeks. I was struggling to keep myself focused and to motivate and push myself to do my workouts. I am a firm believer in that as much as fitness and goals in life are about discipline, you must do what you enjoy and for me to walk into the gym and not enjoy my workouts ... it showed that I needed to reset my head and get myself back to where I love to be which is on top form in the gym πŸ’­πŸ€©I hope everyone has some fab goals to focus towards these next few weeks πŸ’—...#discoverunder100k #discoverunder20k #explore #explorepage #gymgirls #gymgirl #fitnessjourney #fitnessmotivation #fitnessgirl
