
MARCH TRAINING AND GOALS π―πππΌOkay so itβs the start of a new month which means fresh goals and a new mindset to get some progress made and see results!I am changing my routine up a little since my previous goals post with you!RESISTANCE TRAINING - GET MUSCLE GROWTHSo I took a month or so off my usual training routine as I was starting back at work after lockdown - which was a huge lifestyle change for me. But now I am ready to be ON IT with my training ππΌπ 5 x a week training sessions - split with 3 lower body days & 2 upper body days with a little cardio added in here and there π 100kg Hip thrusts for 8-10 reps - are a strength focus for this month, as this is where I was at just before I stopped my schedule, so I am focusing on trying to get back to there (but there is no serious pressure to do so, just a nice goal to have)PROTEIN INTAKE IS GOING UP π³ NO TRACKINGSo I am still not tracking my nutrition which is something I am wanting to continue, as I am really enjoying eating free and easy without monitoring everything I eat. However, I am ensuring that my protein intake is going up a little as I want to fuel my muscle growth and aid the recovery post workout πͺπΌπINCLUDING MINDSET FOCUSED ACTIVITIES π YOGA & PILATES - so these are great for your core strength, stability and balance which is one reason why I want to get back into doing these more in my week. But also, I find them so beneficial for your mind which is the main reason I am going to include them π§πΌββοΈπ JOURNALING - I go in and out of doing this, but I do notice a difference in my focus and mindset when I am in a routine of writing down my thoughts.
